この道の駅は長岡市街の中心に令和２年に建てられた新しい道の駅。長岡花火を音と映像で楽しめるドームシアターで長岡花火を通年で楽しめる道の駅です！
This roadside station, built in the center of Nagaoka city in the second year of Reiwa (2020), is a new facility where you can enjoy Nagaoka fireworks in a dome theater with sound and visuals. It serves as a year-round destination to appreciate Nagaoka fireworks.

長岡花火の尺玉の仕組みや長岡花火に込められた想い、そしてこれまでの歴史が紹介されているブースやドームシアターがあります。8月2日・8月3日で開催される長岡大花火大会を見る前に、いちど長岡花火の歴史や想いについて知ると感動がさらに大きくなるかもしれません。
There are booths and a dome theater introducing the mechanism of Nagaoka fireworks’ large shells, the emotions invested in Nagaoka fireworks, and the history behind them. Before watching the Nagaoka Grand Fireworks Festival held on August 2nd and 3rd, learning about the history and sentiments of Nagaoka fireworks might enhance the experience even more.
