In 1982, the

in Niigata Prefecture to commemorate the opening of the Joetsu Shinkansen bullet train.

From here, you can see Mt. Yahiko on the right, the Ryokan Hall below, the fishing port of Izumozaki, and the streets of Tsumairi along the coastline, with Sado, the land of Ryokan’s mother, in the background.
It is a magnificent view worthy of the first prize.

Place with a spectacular view of the sunset

Located on a hill beside the Ryokan Memorial Museum, it offers a magnificent view of the sunset over the ocean.

For a frontal view of the sunset, the Azumaya, built in a secluded location, is recommended.

If you are lucky, you can see the

“green flash” phenomenon,

a green glow at the moment the sun sets.
